We do a lot of different drills, but we do quite a few with penny bats/Driveline Axe Bats/and other weighted bats. One of our favorite drills to do is offset front toss with fastball/breaking ball mix. In the video is the offset away with the underload Axe bat. We are looking to drive both pitches if they are strikes. This gives guys a better feel for where the ball will actually be coming in from the pitcher's release point and helps our guys control load to be able to adjust to offspeed and still
hit it hard! Also a great way to work on pitch recognition.
